Consumers’ Night fell on an especially exciting date for Canadians this year, with a Toronto Blue Jays playoff game happening around the corner and a national election underway. Despite these circumstances threatening to garner attention, the night was a great success, with the pleasant sounds of mingling carrying on late into the evening.
This year’s event had 195 guests in attendance, including representatives from consumer companies Matalco, ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Tonolli Canada, Gerdau, Rochester Aluminum, Real Alloy, Hussey Copper, Colonial Metals, and Tube City. New CARI members, insurance and consulting professionals, CARI staff and board members, and industry representatives from the United States and across Canada were also in attendance.
The Hyatt Regency Hotel was, once again, a wonderful venue for our event, providing delicious food offerings and excellent service. Oyster and poutine bars, a wide selection of sushi, and decadent desserts were among the evening’s many highlights.
