Recycling operations that offer municipal waste collection or provide materials to the manufacturing sector can remain open. Staff should continue working from home wherever possible, and only essential workers should be on site. Employers should lead and practice safe physical distancing with staff and ensure anyone who is ill or self-isolating not report to work.
Workers Compensation Board employer premiums can deferred until June 30 without interest of penalty. All new employer payroll audits have been deferred. Employers are asked to submit any revisions to their 2020 payroll estimates to the WCB before May 15 to ensure it is reflected on their June statement.
