NEW CARI Member Benefit: Regional Resources Pages

CARI is pleased to announce the launch of our new member benefit. Located in our online members area, resource pages provide links to keep up-to-date on current regulations and recommended practices that affect recycling businesses.

Offered in French and English, and organized by province, these resources address key issues such as:

Metal Theft
ELV Standards
Fire Safety
Employee Health and Labour Codes
Environmental Protection
Transportation
Handling Special Materials

From CARI’s homepage, click the tab “Members Login” to access our exclusive Members Area and our new resources for members.

You will be directed to the login page. Contact CARI staff at [email protected] or 613-728-6946 if you do not have a username and password.

Once logged in, you will be on the landing page for the Regional Resources Pages. Scroll down to select your location.

Select relevant province.

Each province has a separate page that includes brief descriptions of regulations and recommended practices that affect businesses in that region.

Clicking on the red text will bring you directly to linked pages.

Click on the Prairies Chapter or Maritimes Chapter tabs to access separate province pages within those chapters.

Return to the Members Area homepage and click the tab in the top right of the page to access these pages in French.

Descriptions of regulations and recommended practices have been translated to French for all regions. Direct links to French resources are provided when available.

The CARI members area contains many other useful resources such as online renewal and a user-friendly members directory, which is updated throughout the year.
