CARI is hosting a webinar to present an overview of the Cross-Border Movement of Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Recyclable Material Regulations (XBR).
This online session will cover current regulatory requirements and will include topics such as the definitions of “hazardous waste” and “hazardous recyclable material”, the permitting process for international movements and the conditions under which movements can occur, including tracking requirements.
The session will also provide a status update on the current regulatory amendments, as well as an overview of future work to update and modernize the regulations. This session will be delivered by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Waste Reduction and Management Division. The session is FREE for CARI members and $50 for non-members.
