FIRE SAFETY PLANNING
Scrap yards are a unique business environment. Extreme heat, combustible materials, and vast supplies of flammable inventory mean fires are almost inevitable. Damage from a fire can range widely from diminished yard materials, to destruction of equipment, and even to injury or death. For recyclers, creating a comprehensive Fire Safety Plan is vital for maintaining a safe and profitable business.
REQUEST FOR PHOTOS
CARI staff is still collecting photos for the special anniversary gift we are creating for attendees of our 75th Annual Convention. Please help us by sending us photos of your yards, company signs, equipment, and familiar industry faces.
These photos may also be used on CARI’s website, and displayed at the convention. Donna will be collected photos until April 15. We appreciate your help and we look forward to celebrating our members’ accomplishments.
Please call Donna at 705-835-1592 if you would like more information.
